Get the children excited about their nutrition with this fun-for-all tutorial from Adventure In A Box. This activity will make it easy to incorporate the recommended servings of two fruit and 5 vegetables into your everyday meals, enjoy!

What you will need

  • Transparent glass plates
  • A marker (sharpie, paint or glass paint for best results)
  • Pencil
  • Tape
  • Variety of fruit
  • Face design template


  1. Print out the design of the face and tape it to the glass plate.
  2. Trace the face design with your marker of choice, leave to dry and set.
  3. Cut up the fruit into pieces and start laying them out for hair, eyes, a mouth, ears etc

When it comes to our food face friends; we think the more colour, the better! Have fun with your beautiful, healthy and delicious platters!
