The Hawkesbury is good wine country and luckily, Pitt Town sits right in the middle of it. Head north up the river to Ebenezer and you’ll find Jubilee Vineyard Estate, located in a picturesque valley next to an expansive lagoon.

The Jubilee grape is a French/American hybrid variety that produces an aromatic, deep-purple wine. And what better time than winter to sample a smooth, velvety red? You can pick one up from the Jubilee Vineyard cellar door on weekends, between 12 noon and 5 pm. Owner Alison Hayek also hosts interactive wine tastings for groups of up to 30 people, with wines paired with platters of food to complement them.

For more information, contact Alison on or call 02 4579 0740.
