Easter is just around the corner, which means Richard Parker at The Chocolate Pot is heading into the busiest time of his business year.

“Easter’s an exciting time at the shop,” says Richard. “We’re busy making lots of solid chocolate bunnies and we do some great rocky road eggs that always fly off the shelves. Plus we have all the usual favourites in ready supply, including our famous handmade truffles.”

The Chocolate Pot was established over 26 years ago, and Richard and his team have been perfecting their recipes ever since. Each of their signature truffles is individually hand-piped, coated in the finest rich dark chocolate and hand decorated. They’re a delicious and beautiful gift any time of year, or a nice treat to enjoy yourself.

“My favourite changes all the time!” says Richard, “I’m quite partial to chocolate-coated ginger, dried mango and honeycomb. My caramels are pretty sought-after as well, particularly the salted caramels, which seem to be de rigueur right now.”.

Wholesale and retail customers are welcome at the café in Richmond, via www.thechocolatepot.com.au or by calling 02 4572 2537. You’ll also find their delightful creations in 25 shops around Sydney and at the Castle Hill and Blackheath Farmers’ Markets.
