Chris Vincin and his wife, Roslyn, just moved to Vermont from Castle Hill.

“We got the keys just before Christmas last year, and we’re loving it so far,” says Chris. “We moved from Castle Hill and it’s amazing what a difference being that little bit further out makes. The air is cleaner, and it’s so nice and peaceful here.”

The community atmosphere has also been a highlight of their lives in Vermont so far.“We’re lucky to live amongst such lovely people. I think our neighbours are a big part of what makes this such a great place to live in – they’ve been so friendly and welcoming.”

The Vincins built their new home with the help of Binet Homes, and couldn’t be happier with the result.

“They’ve built a couple of houses for me in the past and they’re so easy to work with. They do a first-class job, and are accommodating when it comes to adding personal touches and unique styling to your home.

“A lot of people stop to ask about the house – we couldn’t be happier with it. It’s a nice wide block, the garden and outlook are just lovely and there are lots of trees and bushes to provide a bit of privacy.”

Now retired, Chris spends his days in Vermont maintaining the half acre of land attached to his beautiful new home, and adding finishing touches to the house itself.
As for his plans for the winter, he expects to keep busy outside: “I’ve not experienced winter in Vermont yet but I’m hoping to keep on top of the garden, and do a few projects on the house.”
