Arndell Anglican College attracts many students from the local area, thanks to its pastoral care program, educational excellence and affordable fee structure. It is a co-ed school, catering for pre-kindergarten through to year 12.

The College also has many talented students in sports, drama, debating and the arts, and these skills and more will be on display at its annual Open Day on Saturday May 3.

Everyone is welcome to join in the fun, with a range of stalls, exhibitions and activities throughout the day.

The College also offers a wide range of sports, including netball, rugby, cricket and equestrian. It hosts an annual Interschools Equestrian Carnival, which attracted over 240 riders last September.

Its performing arts program alternates between a musical and drama production each year, and includes regular smaller performances.

Jason Tobin, a Riverland resident, says the smaller school size and personal attention attracted his family to Arndell. “One thing we worried about was moving the kids away from their friends in Rouse Hill. But now they’ve met up with all the local kids, and we’re absolutely rapt with the school and the teachers.”
