The Sydney Blues & Roots Festival comes to Windsor on 23-26 October for its sixth year running, adding to the village atmosphere once again with the sounds of wailing harmonicas, swinging big bands, the drone of didgeridoos, and lots of bluesy, soulful vocals.

An event for the entire family, the festival is set on intimate stages among the food and market stalls, with plenty of entertainment for kids. If they’re under 15, your children can even enter free of charge.

This year’s line up includes over 40 bands from Australia and internationally, including Joe Camilleri & the Black Sorrows, Harper & Midwest Kind and Rick Price. And it’s not just about blues and country – the festival is a three-day celebration of diverse musical genres from surf rock to jazz and funk, rockabilly to ska, and an exciting weekend for Windsor and the Hawkesbury region, for old hats and budding music fans alike.

Tickets are on sale now from their website with early bird three-day passes for just $139.
