Former Australian cricket captain, Michael Clarke and his wife, Kyly have purchased a luxury four bedroom terrace at the $388 million masterplanned marina estate, Trinity Point in Lake Macquarie being developed by Johnson Property Group.

The Clarkes are the first buyers to secure a property at Trinity Point which will launch its first land lots to be released to the market – a limited 32 lots priced from $398,888 – on Sunday 29 November in a launch party at the waterfront development.

Johnson Property Group has also brought Michael on board as an ambassador for Trinity Point, joining model, entrepreneur and local girl, Jennifer Hawkins.

Fast becoming the talk of Sydney’s trendsetters, Trinity Point is expected to attract the interest of a number of high profile purchasers – the first of which is the Clarkes.

Michael Clarke said Trinity Point is one of those rare projects that comes along maybe once in a lifetime located in a pristine part of Australia’s stunning coastline, which you just don’t want to miss out on.

“Trinity Point is going to become an absolute Sydney weekend hotspot – another Palm Beach or daytrip destination but with more of a marina-lifestyle resort focus,” he said.

“We are absolutely delighted to be the first buyers to secure a stunning lakeside home at Trinity Point and are already planning our family holidays and weekend trips away staying in our beautiful three storey terrace house with views out over Lake Macquarie.”

Johnson Property Group CEO Keith Johnson said Johnson Property Group is delighted to have Michael Clarke on board as a new ambassador for Trinity Point, joining Jennifer Hawkins.

“Michael is a fantastic fit for Trinity Point and we are thrilled that he is our first purchaser having invested in a luxury terrace overlooking Lake Macquarie, perfect for family holidays in the not too distant future,” Mr Johnson said.

“It has been a big year for Michael, retiring from professional cricket, celebrating the birth of his first child, announced as GQ Man of the Year and now as a new ambassador and private investor at Trinity Point. We congratulate him wholeheartedly on his success and are thrilled to have him on board.”

Trinity Point launches exclusive land sales: 29 November

Trinity Point’s first release will comprise a total of 32 land lots, priced from $398,888 and ranging in size from 450 square metres to 660 square metres, offering the opportunity to build a home beside the peaceful and serene, Lake Macquarie.

Spanning 23 hectares of prime waterfront land, Trinity Point is idyllically located overlooking Barden’s Bay in Lake Macquarie, 88 minutes’ drive north of Sydney and 30 minutes’ drive south of Newcastle.

Mr Johnson said it is my personal ambition to see Trinity Point developed into a truly world-class masterplanned marina community which all of Australia and even international guests will want to live or at the very least, come and visit and enjoy.

“With the Clarkes being our first purchasers, we’re certainly off to a fantastic start with the Sydney market not wanting to miss out on this rare and prestigious lakeside opportunity.

“We are at the very beginning of a hugely exciting, long-term journey which I personally invite all of Sydney, Newcastle and everywhere in between to come and visit and experience for themselves.”

5-star Pullman Trinity Point Resort to open in 2017

Johnson Property Group has appointed leading hotel group, AccorHotels, to operate the resort precinct within its $388 million masterplanned Trinity Point development.

Operating as the ‘Pullman Trinity Point Resort’, the property will comprise a 5-star, 65-room hotel and 150 serviced apartments with business and conference facilities overlooking the lake and a 188-berth marina. The resort facilities include a swimming pool, luxury day spa, executive lounge and gymnasium, a tourist reception and ground level retail stores.

Adjoining the Pullman Trinity Point Resort, will be a major 250 apartment precinct including a mix of short stay, which will be serviced by the hotel, and residential apartments.

Mr Johnson said the company was pleased to partner with AccorHotels to deliver a luxurious 5-star hotel to attract new domestic and international visitors to the untouched paradise that is Lake Macquarie.

Trinity Point to offer the ultimate lakeside lifestyle

Mr Johnson said lifestyle is at the heart of Trinity Point with the masterplan to incorporate a 5 star hotel, a 200-seat restaurant and 300-seat function centre, a 188-berth marina and a wide range of resort-style facilities including a luxury day spa, swimming pool and gym.

“Our first exclusive release offers a diverse range of land lots to suit a variety of buyers – from young families looking to secure a seaside home that accommodates their growing family – just like the Clarkes – or early retirees looking for the dream holiday home with premium lifestyle offerings right on their doorstep,” Mr Johnson said.

“Trinity Point is the perfect place to build your dream lakeside home and enjoy all the lifestyle benefits that come with living beside one of Australia’s largest lakes with fishing, boating, swimming, jet skiing, water-skiing or simply leisurely bushwalking all on offer.”

Lake Macquarie: A hidden gem

Located only 88 minutes’ drive north of Sydney, Lake Macquarie is one of NSW’s best-kept secrets, in close proximity to Sydney where you still feel connected but far enough away to experience the peaceful nature of a destination like Trinity Point.

“Those who visit Trinity Point are struck by the location’s natural beauty and peacefulness – you really fall in love with the place and just like the Clarkes, I think this will be the case with many who visit,” Mr Johnson added.

Positioned within a nature reserve and surrounded by water on three sides, the Trinity Point precinct is a nature lover’s paradise, home to a vast array of bird and sea life.

Covering an area of 110 square kilometres and twice the size of Sydney Harbour, Lake Macquarie is Australia’s largest coastal salt water lake and the largest permanent salt water lake in the southern hemisphere.

Upon completion, Trinity Point will be a destination on Sydney’s north coast featuring 189 residential lots and medium-density housing, 250 tourism and residential apartments, a 188-berth marina, restaurants, cafe and outdoor dining facilities.

The project also includes a 300-seat conference centre, serviced meeting rooms, public boardwalks and other community facilities, with the vision to become one of the most ecologically sustainable and environmentally friendly marinas in Australia.
