Former Test skipper Michael Clarke had a bat and a bowl, Newcastle-born model Jennifer Hawkins mingled with guests and the land started flying off the plan.

Trinity Point’s two celebrity ambassadors added an extra touch of glamour to an already luxurious location on the shores of Lake Macquarie on Sunday at the launch of land sales for the 23 hectare marina.

Clarke, who last week become the first home owner at the $388 million development, played a friendly game of cricket with about 30 kids, while Hawkins mixed with guests.

Meanwhile, buyers were moving quickly to secure a spot, with 15 land lots, valued at more than $10 million, sold in the first release.

The Johnson Property Group also sold a massive 1321 square metre lot for $1.58 million.

Johnson Property Group Managing Director Keith Johnson said the company was aware of the demand for land at Trinity Point with many buyers waiting patiently for the lots to come on the market.

“We are delighted with the result from our first day of sales which comes on the back of several major announcements we’ve made about Trinity Point, including AccorHotels coming on board to operate our 5-star Pullman Resort,” Mr Johnson said.

Johnson Property Group were last week approved to modify an earlier concept to include the hotel and commercial precinct and an apartment precinct, which will includes short stay and residential apartments.

“Buyers who have purchased land lots today have secured a unique opportunity to become part of a truly world-class marina community and tourist destination on Sydney’s north coast,” Mr Johnson said.

“Those looking for a sea-change but also wanting sophisticated lifestyle and entertainment options on their doorstep should move quickly to secure remaining lots.”
